"Final Destination" is one of my personal favourites. It started out as a challenge to myself to create another long song, but this time with a lot of different sections and styles (kind of like Green Day's "Homecoming"). When I was mostly done with the more classical piano part and the poppy piano riff, my keyboard teacher told me I should participate in a competition where you play your own compositions. Because I was just done with the first few minutes of this song, I decided to participate with this one. I didn't win, but I tell myself that's only because the prize was a professional audio recording, and the jury told me I practically already did that. After the competition, I decided to keep the song like this and not add any more stuff, even though I had recorded a metal/punk 220 BPM version of Pachelbel's "Canon in D" to be transitioned into.

I really enjoyed this. I’m not a big electronic drum fan so I’m surprised 😲. Could be due to the fact that I was a drummer. Been a big electronic music fan since the moog was invented though. Listening to’Red Genesis’ right now. Very ephemeral. I may like this more. DrVibes
